AWARD : FRAMACO INTERNATIONAL IS AWARDED THE DESIGN-BUILD US EMBASSY IN COLOMBO, SRI LANKA

The New Embassy Compound (NEC) Site Mitigation & Development Project (SMDP) $16Million contract in Colombo, Sri Lanka will incorporate the former British High Commission (BHC) compound into the existing US Embassy compound while adjusting the west compound boundary for the impending extension of Marine Drive. The US Embassy Campus is 1.55 Hectare (3.5 acres) and consists of five-story Chancery office building, warehouse, GSO support facilities, vehicular maintenance shops and break room on the west property line (ocean side). The campus adjoins the British High Commission (BHC) on the north and consists of several buildings located on its 0.85 Hectares (2.7-acres).
